And so it begins in napYtime

It's interesting to me how important we as individuals think we are and how we chose our path in life based on the events that happen around us…our dads a banker we're a banker. I think it's an important thing to note that ideas on the world change as the world around us changes and sometimes choose our own path. We the guided children of TV and daycares are the products of a less forceful education. The world we have become accustomed to is easy and predictable and we try and kid ourselves with a little twist here and a tattoo there, but we are staged from an earlier predisposition toward whatever.

I say all this because I am at odds with people in my life about the path on which I'm on and how “now” to best find my calling. I mean the calling I am most aligned to pursue, or more simply my destiny. It's a hard thing to figure out so any advice would be greatly appreciated and taken under strong advisement. I am a people person with strong comic ability and a retractable nose of lies and deceit, I talk way too much, I hate Bush, and I seem to resemble my elders daily.

On a non-heavy note, I think that we all have a purpose and that it can elude us for quite sometime. Just find your purpose, unlike me to date. Be happy and enjoy the people you have around you, the people that have remained in your life for more that a week. If you don't have these sorts of people in your life for god sakes go out and get them. Lastly, I am a stream of consciousness kind of person so if you need a translation I will try, I’m no great grammar god, I tend to ramble, but if you read my about sound bite you will see that this is really what this blog is after…still waiting on the life advice though :)

  • Just remember that you are experiencing the same thing as everyone else. You have the luxuary of doing so with friends that are on the same ship you are on. We all are going thru the same thing together. Money/ health/ sex/ aging / children and everything the future holds. Good God man, I am in sales for Christ sacks, my wife and I have a nervous breakdown over a $300 clients. The thing that makes all of your friends love you, is the fact that they understand you and are thinking the same exact thing, you just thought of it first.
I just bought a house, life insurance and I need a new car. I am up to my ears in bills and way of life. But, I asked for it, I took the plunge and decided to deal in on life. I am not going to blam Bush, or Kerry for that. I was sick of seating on the sidelines watching. I told my wife I loved her, I had a baby, I decide to move forward and not look back! You did to, you are my brother and I could not have had the balls to move forward if you had not. I guess that is what big brothers are for.
